The 2nd edition of Athenaeum – the Library Week of SVV was a week-long celebration that culminated in the valedictory ceremony on 22nd November, 2020. More than 500 students from Grades I – XII took part in various contests like Show and Tell, Story Writing, Book Review, Book Cover Design, Dictionary work, Just A Minute and Ship Wreck and displayed their talents. The valediction was presided by eminent children’s author and proprietor of The Little Theatre India, Mrs. Aysha Rau. Prior to the valediction at Rangammal Auditorium, a special Book Reading & interactive session by the Guest was held at the Sarvamamani Library where interesting nuggets from her recently released book “The Forbidden Forest” were delectably devoured by the ardent readers of SVV. Prizes were given away to the literati of SVV by the Chief Guest and Founder Principal Dr. Smt. Umakannan. The Principal Mrs. Rani Srinivasan felicitated the luminaries.
