On 5th June, 2024 orientation programme for the teachers of SVGS on “Classroom Management” was held at Rangammal Auditorium in SVV campus.
The program began with a welcome note presented by Mrs.R.S.Geeta Principal of SVJS and Deputy Director of SVGS she has listed out the connect lessons for the teachers to focus on the same throughout the academic year.
Then the session started on the topic classroom management by archive guest Mrs. Aadhitya Arjun from “Kathaa Bhoomi”. She listed the qualities of a teacher and gave a detailed note on each qualities and mentioned the teachers as “Gold Collar workers”.She also insisted on the ways to build community with students and the steps to build or strengthen the physical and psychological environment. The importance of creating a job chart in every classroom, positive reinforcement, modelling the behaviour of the students positive consequences and how to handle the negative consequences or discussed as an enlightened in the session.
