SVPS proudly joined the nation in celebrating the National Handloom Day, today the 7th August, 2023.
The event revolved around, commemorating the artisans and the skilled labourers behind bringing the Textile Industry as the second largest industry in India. The demand for our articrafts was glorified during the talk show held by our students. An overview of this industry was given by a grade 11 student, to understand its significance in the economy of our nation. Handloom fabric from across the country – from TamilNadu, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal and more were displayed. The display intended to introduce and promote the same to the new generation kids. It was truly an experiential learning for our students.
