The noon of 23rd November 2024 saw Edathu – the Annual Day cum Chrysalis Day of Sri Venkateswara Public School, CBSE, Puzhal, a grand celebration of academic excellence and cultural vibrancy. The event commenced with a dignified guard of honour for the chief guest Smt. Poornima Bhagyaraj, a renowned Indian actress and the Guest of Honour Shri Vishwanath, founder member -Head -Partnership Chrysalis along with the Founders of the school. This was followed by a solemn prayer seeking divine blessings. Jyotirmaya – the traditional lighting, of the lamp symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.
The Deputy Director, delivered a warm Swagatham– welcome address. Pixel Pioneer – the Annual Report was read by the Principal, highlighting the institution’s achievements and the students’ contributions. This was followed by a captivating array of performances, showcasing the students’ talents in all forms of artistic expressions. The performances were a testament of the school’s commitment to holistic development – LOOK DEEP, LOOK AROUND, LOOK WITHIN & LOOK BEYOND.
The address by the Founder Principal, Dr. Smt. Uma Kannan and the Guest of Honour Shri Vishwanath inspired the audience with insightful thoughts and motivational messages. The chief guest, Smt. Poornima Bhagyaraj, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered a thought-provoking speech, emphasizing the importance of education and values.
The highlight of the event was the award ceremony, where meritorious students were honoured for their academic achievements along with those who had maximum attendance through the year. The proud recipients received their awards with beaming smiles and applause from the audience.
The grand day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, parents, teachers, and staff for their unwavering support and contributions to the school’s success. The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
